Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro
With a recent surge in popularity for the UNC colorway, Nike (NYSE:NKE +2.11%) has dipped the Air Force 1 Low in “Powder Blue.” The color scheme has taken a multitude of renditions since the first collaboration with the University of North Carolina for the 1993-94 season with 200 pairs of basketball shoes issued for the Tar Heels.
Releases such as the Nike Dunk Low, Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 5 PE and SB x Air Jordan 1 Low have gotten the clear blue sky makeover in the past few years. Now, the sportswear giant has combined the popular hue with its highly-favored silhouette that slathers the entire upper leather base with Powder Blue along with a crisp white Swoosh on the laterals. Pops of white detail the tongue branding, liner, heel tab, insole branding and midsole while the rubber outsole follows suit of the uppers.
